Eric and Allison are serving in Dallas, TX, where Eric is strategically located to serve over 2,000 Bible translation projects worldwide through software development. He is currently focused on the Digital Bible Library (click to view video), the largest web service for distributing digitized Bible translations. Now people all over the world will be able to easily access God's word in their language! Eric has served with Wycliffe for 10+ years working on software projects that impact language study, translation, and now scripture access. Currently, Allison takes care of their 3 year-old daughter and their son who was born in August 2015. She also occasionally serves the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics(GIAL) by keeping in touch with alumni who are serving around the world. Eric and Allison served in Tanzania for almost two years (2011-2012) assisting seven Bantu languages in the Mara region publish their first Gospel of Luke and other books of the Bible, like Ruth and Jonah. Allison assisted Mother-tongue translators in Bible translation and in linguistic analysis for the Jita language during their assignment in Tanzania. The Mara region is the most densely populated area of Tanzania with the fewest churches. For more information on the Mara region, see http://www.TheTask.net/Mara. Eric has a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a Master's of Arts (M.A.R.) in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary. Allison has an MA in Applied Linguistics with a concetration in Bible Translation from the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics and BA in Spanish and Psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University. 7,000+ languages actively spoken in the world (Statistics as of Oct 2019) at least 2000 languages with probable need of Bible translation (*)
