Christ is coming! After months of dealing with various family health issues, feeling like we're barely just surviving and once again behind on everything, it's encouraging to have a season where we can look up and look forward to Christ coming. It reminds us that our momentary sufferings have a glorious end in sight.
This month (Dec 23rd) also reminds me of my small beginning 44 years ago in a little town called Norman, OK. Lord, teach me to number my days, and how to redeem each one for Your glory!
In mid-January, a colleague and I hope to host another meeting in Dallas to continue to work with and improve our app "nathanael". Nathanael is designed to help Digital Bible Library (DBL) users upload or download Bible content to/from the DBL.
Please pray for safe travels for participants and that it will be even more productive than our first meeting!
"Nathanael" means gift from God. I do pray that this app will be a gift to many. However, I chose to name my app "Nathanael" because it was to him that Jesus said "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man" (John 1:51). Thus, my purpose is for this application to witness God's words (Bibles) ascending and descending in service to their Mediator.
