I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you for being a part of this work along with us.
Sometimes... I (Allison) feel like we're doing this all on our own.
Sometimes... the days are long, trying to bring order to the chaos of managing three small kids at home. It can feel like I'm never really accomplishing anything.
Sometimes... Eric's work seems like just another software job, with meetings and programming goals and deadlines.
Sometimes... I'm stressed when it seems like finances are tight.
...BUT we're a part of something so much BIGGER! Thanks to the work of Eric and others, billions of people can now access God's Word in their language! Thanks to their ongoing work, millions more will be able to access his Word in the future! Thanks to the work of others in our organization, many people are learning to read in their own language for the first time! Others are gaining access to God's Word in audio or sign language formats.
...AND I'm encouraged when I look at the list of people who have given to Wycliffe the past couple of months on our behalf.
SO MANY of you give sacrificially every month (or quarter, or year—or even on occasion!) because you're as passionate as we are about serving people around the world who don't have all the privileges that we have as English-speaking Americans.
...AND I'm encouraged when I remember how many more of you pray for us and encourage us along our journey. Some of you help us out in other practical ways. We appreciate all of you!
