Surrounded by endless anxieties and desires for "yet more stuff,” how easy it is for us to take that greatest Gift for granted 2000 years later! Likewise, how easy it is for us to take for granted God's living Word speaking to us in English! (Did you know that almost 500 years have passed since John Wycliffe's translation?)
